I've been more compulsive about journaling thatn sketching throughout my life, and inevitably some interesting layout and illustrative, collage, etc things have come out of there. Here's 2 fairly recent examoles (last year - current one). Since I don't particularly care to divulge my ill little mind to the universe, I have taken the liberty of smudging out most of the text.

I'm a long-term journaler too, except mine is mostly digital. Can't have hard copies of the crazy laying around! You might like this community, where people post mixtures of their art/writing journals.
