PPF - beginning of the year painting

Hi everyone! At paint party friday! Thanks to Eva and Kristin for the fun blog hop - am happy to have decided to come back

I haven't been blogging a lot lately so i will share stuff I've made from the past. I hope to get to visit as many ppl as I can today

I am sharing a New Years painting - I had received both the sketchbook (a nice big size) and the markers for Christmas so I decided to work on an INaugural Sketch that then became a crazy painting!

I remember being, as with every year, full of joy and hope for things to come. Midway through the year I can say it's been a mixed bag - I'm sure others feel the same!

SOme things that affected me deeply this year were the death of David Bowie, this loss began an art project, one sketch of which can be seen here:

I've created 5 or 6 finished Bowie inspired pieces which I will probably share here later

also, get your colouring book doodles here! http://doodlescription.com/5/
art created by me to be coloured by you

as I said last week, am involved in an exciting colouring book project/venture and if you like colouring pages I recommend you sign up to the newsletter:

have a great day!

Your sketch book looks wonderful, have fun. I think life is a mixed bag for us all, and I am hoping for more up than down days for the rest of the year! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

the first image has so much in it. My first impression was that you made dresses from volcanos. :) Love the idea.

a super colorful and detailed sketchbook page at the top, and I certainly can see the resemblance to David Bowie in your other piece. Happy PPF!

The detailing in your Inaugural Sketch is amazing. It has been a devastating year, with all the hateful mass murders we've been having worldwide. Thanks for your visit on the 15th, and sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I was out of town. Blessings!
