Creative Tuesdays - Thumbprint

last minute entry!!

Been wanting to take a brief break from all else I've been doing (IE 93 Turner reproductions/reinterpretations on wood panels) to join up again with the fun folks at blogs.

Thumbprints! What can be a better accompaniment to thumbprints than... food coloring? So here it is. THe paper was rather thick and odd, though, so squished everything weirdly. In the end was satisfied to have these large scary flowers encroaching on the scowling old lady I'd drawn up in the commestible medium some weeks hence.

Food colouing? Cleve. Would not have thought about that. Lovely flowers --sort of reminds me of old Japanese style prints. TY for squeezing this in under the wire.
